New email security procedures were instituted by Google and Yahoo! as of February 1, 2024. These requirements may precipitate you to change some of your business' email protocols. By following the steps below you'll remain compliant with the changes:
Set Up a Custom Sending Domain (CSD)

Get a DMARC policy and set p=none
Include an Unsubscribe Button Clearly on Every Email
This one is pretty self-explanatory. Have a clearly-visible working link on every email for your receivers to unsubscribe.
Keep Your Spam Rates Below 0.1%
If more than 1/1000 of your email list is flagging your emails as "spam" you're going to have to address it. The best way to do so is to curate your email list and remove individuals who aren't active customers and are not engaging with your emails. The unsubscribe button will also help purge individuals who don't wish to receive your emails.
Don't Mass Send Emails from GMail
If you're running your CSM through GMail you're going to run into problems per policy. This ties back into the first point, create your own CSM and get it protected with a DMARC policy.
